Farscape a Platform for Esteem
17 of December 2009
Hey folks,
It has been a years since the series of Farscape has been adored. It is a science fiction series. That has accomplished 88 episodes of four seasons. This series is known as Farscape-The Peacekeeper Wars.
Starting characters of Farscape-The Peacekeeper Wars like Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Virginia Hey, Anthony Simcoe, Gigi Edgley, Paul Goddard, Lani Tupu, Wayne Pygram, and Jonathan Hardy have won name and fame through these series. All Credit of their popularity goes to these series.
In fact Farscape TV show proved such a platform that helps the stars to shine. This series represents its characters as widely diverse and assorted ensembles. John Crichton (Ben Browder) is the main character and a modern American astronaut in this science fiction. He is best known and liked by one and all for his roles in Farscape series.
Similarly Virginia Hey who is an empathic blue lady who’s half-plant, half-crazy, and often nude in Farscape. She gets vast popularity as Pa’u Zotoh Zhaan through this role. Her role is really praise worthy.

And how can we forget Chiana (Gigi Edgley) whose disloyal nature made her leading spirit for cleansing. She is showed as a grey skinned species. Her extraordinary look in this science fiction provides a spectacular look to the sci-fi.
The role of Jonathan Hardy who voiced a puppet character named Dominar Rygel XVI is luminous effort by him. Existence of this puppet character in these series provides comic relief. His arrogant nature is quite loveable. Except than these ones there are other appreciable characters without them these series could not boom.
In brief I would like to say that all the characters in all series are radiant. All the episodes of these Science-Fiction series got name and glory. Indeed it became a platform for all characters to turn them into stars.
Friends if you are willing to see these stars shining just download Farscape TV show by clicking here.
RevolutionSF spoofs Claudia Black’s figure!
02 of November 2009
Do you remember the woman on Farscape who wore tight leathered suits and displayed her rude and strong looks? Yes of course, she also flaunted her sexy looks and emotional feelings only after loosing her touch from Peacekeepers on the show. Now you got it?
Hell! Forgotten? It’s Claudia Black whom I am talking about! The 37-year old Australian actress postponed her honeymoon for shooting of miniseries Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars in 2004. The lady won a Saturn Award for Best Actress category for the same miniseries. Not only acting, she also displayed her talent by singing and playing the guitar at the Farscape conventions. Sheesh! Sheer hardworking gal! Keep it up!
And now the title of this post needs to be talked about!

Have you ever heard of the magazine ‘Revolution Science fiction’? If yes, then have you read it? Well, the magazine is famous for its parody-articles thereby mud-slinging the celebrities! Here’s the spoofed photograph of Claudia Black that I just found while surfing and came across to share it with you. Joe Crowe is the humor and news editor for the magazine and has pulled the legs of Black just as a marketing stunt! The lady who is known for her prominent face-cuts and whose shoulders flaunt her beauty marks is being criticized on her appearance by the writer of the magazine.
Many of the people are fans of her figure, cut-throat acting and stunning looks. I guess either they must’ve not caught the spoofed photograph or must’ve not seen it clearly. But as a matter of fact, the actress’ figure has been parodied just in order to make itself as numero uno in the name-fame game! The pic attacks satirically comparing her hands to with those of pasty-monkey ones! Hush! I always thought she has long hands adding to her body grace but since no two fingers of a hand are equal and so are the individual views! If you missed the stunning looks of this glitterati, download the entire series of Farscape or watch it online!
New Farscape DVDs hit the stores
19 of August 2009
Hello Friends…
There is good news for the fans of Farscape TV shows series. The epical adventure ‘Farscape’, which is ground breaking and award-winning sci-fi production, has become a fan favourite, all around the world. It is one of television’s best trendy shows ever and known for the overwhelming fan-based campaign that led to the miniseries production, ‘Farscape’ has continued to find new audiences as it airs in syndication and is now available on DVD around the world.
Farscape will introduce DVD in The Complete Series Mega-set in November as the show marks its 10th anniversary, with all four seasons and hours of extras; executive producer Brian Henson, creator Rockne O’Bannon and stars Ben Browder and Claudia Black will be at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego to discuss their favourite moments from the series and the DVD re-release.

Although the series was under contract for five seasons, it was abruptly canceled after production had ended on its fourth season, effectively ending the series on a cliffhanger. Co-producer Brian Henson later secured the rights to Farscape, paving the way for a three-hour miniseries entitled Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, which was directed by Henson. New episodes have been announced, but production has been repeatedly put on hold. A new comic book miniseries released on November 2008, which is in the continuity of both the series and the hoped-for more episodes.
However, you can enjoy unlimited downloads of Farscape show on this website as well.
Hey everyone! The leading lady of our favorite TV show Farscape, Claudia Black was seen impressing fans at the Electronic Entertainment Expo which is also known as E3. The gorgeous actress was there to promote Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, a video game for PS3 in which she has lent her voice to one of the main characters, Chloe Frazer. For those of you who don’t know, E3 is one of the world’s most important trade shows for the computer and video games industry that is held annually.
The actress has a long association with sci-fi series and games. Apart from portraying the role of Officer Aeryn Sun in Farscape she has also been a part of another very popular sci-fi series Stargate-SG1. She also did voice over for Farscape: The Game and various other video games. It seems that she loves the thrill, adventure and fun associated with sci-fi series. Well, that is quite natural for any fun loving person and Claudia is no exception.

The actress from Farscape has taken on various other roles since the show stopped successfully airing four seasons, but for some fans like me she will always remain Officer Aeryn Sun from the show. Her fantastic performance left a lasting impression in the hearts of millions of people who found it difficult to accept her in any other character. Her character in the show gave her vast scope to present her acting skills as it was composed of different shades ranging from a villainous and non-empathetic opponent to an emotional lover and compassionate being.
Even today, I find it difficult to segregate her real self from that of her character in Farscape TV show. So whenever I feel like looking back at her splendid performance, I take the help of this website. This website allows me to watch Farscape episodes online and I can also download my favorite episodes from here. So if you also want to relive the nostalgic memories of Farscape, you can always use the features of this website.
Farscape Hero To Play Iraqi Vet In Upcoming Movie!
19 of February 2009
Hey friends! Here is something about Ben Browder, who played the role of John Crichton on Farscape TV show, which might interest you. The handsome hunk is to be seen in a new movie later this year where he will be playing the role of an Iraqi vet. The movie is named Freeze Frame and is directed by Galit McCord. The movie is planned to start shooting later this year. I know that like me you all also loved Ben on Farscape and are dying to know more about his latest flick. But do have some patience and read on to know more.

Well as I told you above, Ben will play an Iraqi vet in prison. While he is there, Ben is paid a visit by a Vietnamese vet who is making a documentary for ABC, and wants to interview Ben. And during the interview Ben reveals the truth of his imprisonment. His confession results in a chaos in his life as he ends up being sprung from prison into a world where everyone recognizes him but no-one is ready to help him, including his estranged son from a broken marriage. The drama continues as Ben holds the documentarian responsible for his troubles and goes after him to kill him only to learn….
Now what Ben learns and why he is thrown out of prison and many other questions like these will be answered when you get to see the movie. But one thing I can guarantee, that this is one movie which has a lot of potential for Ben as an actor. I am sure our leading man from Farscape will be able to do full justice to his role in the movie with his great acting talent. We all know him as a very good and versatile actor who ruled the hearts of millions of fans as John Crichton in Farscape tv show. Now, here is a chance to see him in a totally new and different role from what he did in Farscape. So guys, even though the countdown has not yet started, but get yourself ready for another rocking date with your loved star from Farscape, Ben Browder.
Farscape Comics Is a Total Sell Out!
19 of February 2009
Hey friends! I know you are missing the action and adventure of our favorite sci-fi series Farscape. But since the series has been wrapped up for good, we can just look forward to the events related to the series, with the hope of getting some solace. Well one such event recently occurred when the Boom! Studios announced a total sellout of its first issue of Farscape Comics. Now that goes on to prove how popular the series really is even in the current times. People are eager to learn what events occur next in the life of the various characters and if they find their answers through a comic book, then let it be so. Frankly speaking, I think it is really good that the comics are selling like hot cakes. This raises new hopes as it might lead the creators of the series to revive the magic that Farscape created on the American television, not too many years ago.

The comic book which was the result of the agreement between the Jim Henson Company and Boom! Studios, has been written by Rockne O’Bannon who created the series Farscape. It picks up the story of the series from just after the Peacekeeper Wars and its beauty lies in the fact that the writers have kept those readers in mind who might be new to the Farscape world besides maintaining a balance for the regular followers of the television series. The fact that most of the readers have actually seen the now animated characters perform live on a real television show has also been a great reason behind the huge success of the comic book. And after the enormous success of the first comic book, the creators are ready to set the markets on fire with the next issue of the four issue miniseries, which is to be released later this month.
I also hope that they reconsider their decision of having only four issues in this miniseries and come out with many more issues in future. I think you all will agree with me if I say that we are all craving to get more from the world of Farscape!
The Farscape Comic Book is OUT!
17 of February 2009
Hey guys! Here is some great news about our favorite science fiction tv show Farsacpe. Well thanks to the agreement between the Jim Henson Company and Boom! Studios, the series has finally made its comic book debut. The television series Farscape took science fiction to new heights and paved the way for many other similar shows. The characters became extremely popular because they were just ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances. The comic book series has maintained the originality of the show. I really wish that the comic book does as well as the original show.
I have just finished with the first issue of the Farscape comic book miniseries and I have only one word to describe it -OUTSTANDING. The comic book version has been written by the creator of the original series Rockne O’Bannon. The series which picked up the story just after the Peacekeeper Wars has been beautifully conceived keeping in mind readers who might be new to the Farscape world as well as those who have been regular followers of the show. The comic book series continues with the tradition of moving forward which was quite prominent on the show. Quite similar to the original series the status quo never seems to be maintained on the comic book series as well.

The fact that the comic book series of Farscape has been actually inspired from a TV show with live characters makes it all the more fascinating. While reading the comic book, you can imagine the action being performed by a character and give it a face and a voice. You can actually imagine John getting worried, Aeryn feeling the pain of heat delirium, Moya being alive or Zahaan changing personality. I think having seen the characters in flesh and blood adds an extra ferver to the comic book.
Although, initially there will a miniseries of four issues only, I really hope that the creators come up with many more issues very soon. I am already looking forward to the next issue and if you have yet to get your first issue, I think you just need to grab it. I know you will enjoy the first issue as much as I have and will really be impatient for the release of the second issue. So happy reading guys !!
Review of The Farscape Miniseries
12 of February 2009
Hey buddies! I remember I was really upset with the way Farscape ended, leaving behind many unanswered questions. The unplanned and sudden termination of the science fiction series left most of us speculating about the future of our loved characters. However, as the demand for the revival of the series increased, the network came up with a miniseries to wrap up the cliffhanger ending of the fourth and final season. The miniseries named Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars was made up of two episodes each of which was aired for a duration of two hours and the first episode aired on 17th October 2004. The series saw, Rygel retrieving the disintegrated parts of John and Aeryn which are then recrystallized by the Diagnosian while Scorpius and Sikozu use a Peacekeeper Command Carrier to attack a Scarran ship which results in the latter declaring a war on the Peacekeepers. Also Sikozu helps rescues everybody from the Scarran prison and later the entire crew comes together to destroy the Scarran ship and go back to Moya. John meets Einstien at the wormhole and is gifted with the power to construct a wormhole weapon.

The fans, who were craving to have more of the Farscape series, were really excited about this miniseries. They tuned in to watch the two episode special in huge numbers raising the viewer ship for the two nights of telecast to levels that made SciFi the No 1 network in the category of non sports cable. But the series also revived the hopes that there would be full season of Farscape airing soon, but these hopes too died down eventually. Although the disheartened fans launched a major campaign to revive Farscape and even suggested transferring it to a new channel, the network remained committed to its decision.
The show which changed the concept of people about an alien world and made their fantasies come alive in their own living rooms, is still ruling the hearts of millions of its fans. Although it was shameful to cut down the show so suddenly, but at least the creators thought of wrapping it up in an appropriate manner though it was year before we got to see its proper end!
Farscape Returns…………………On The Web Though!
07 of February 2009
Hey guys. Yes it is true Farscape tv show is definitely coming back though in an entirely different medium. Very soon we will be able to see the Farscape webisodes on the internet. There will be a total of ten webisodes each of which will be of a few minutes duration. Although the exact date of the release of the webisodes is yet to be announced it is speculated that the same will be release in the last week of January or first week of February in 2009. However it has been confirmed that the leading cast of Ben Browder and Claudia Black might be available in the webisodes which are to be produced by Jim Henson Company. Ben Browder played the role of John Crichton while Claudia Black was seen as Officer Aeryn Sun.

There is however still no information on what will be the storyline of the webisodes. That is, will they pick up after the last episode of the miniseries was aired or will they follow a totally new and different story? Whatever be the case I am really looking forward to watching the new mini episodes of my favorite show on the net.
Well, I know that some of you might feel that it is not as good as the return of the actual series. You must be wondering why not revive the series instead of creating just a few webisodes. But believe me friends something is always better than nothing. Initially I was also disappointed at the idea of having to see just the small minisodes on the net, but then the excitement of being able to watch the action of my most loved show changed my feelings. And who knows, if the webisodes become much popular we might even get to see the revival of the fascinating science fiction series on television. So don’t let your spirits dampen.
Let’s hope and pray that this is just the first step towards the revival of a series that all of us have been missing for the past four years. So, just keep you fingers crossed and hearts filled with hope while you get ready for the exciting new webisodes of one of the best science fiction shows Farscape!
The Farscape Miniseries: A Review
02 of February 2009
Hey buddies! I know you must be upset with the way Farscape ended. It was a totally unplanned and sudden end to wonderful series and left most of us wondering what happened to the characters. Well it seems that the network soon realized its folly and aired a miniseries that wrapped up the cliffhanger ending of the fourth season. The miniseries which was named Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars consisted of two episodes of two hours each and was first aired on 17th October 2004. In the series, Rygel retrieves the parts of John and Aeryn sixty days after their disintegration and the Diagnosian recrystallizes them. Meanwhile Scorpius and Sikozu who are on board a Peacekeeper Command Carrier attack a Scarran ship provoking them into declaring a war on the Peacekeepers. Sikozu helps everybody to escape from the Scarran prison and later the entire crew joins hands to cripple the Scarran ship and return back to Moya. John returns to the wormhole where he meets Einstien who gives him the power to construct a wormhole weapon.

The fans were really excited about the two episode miniseries and the viewer ship over the two nights made SciFi the No 1 non sports cable network. Although there were hopes that the miniseries would finally be converted into a full season, these hopes were soon crushed. It gave a reason to rejoice for the fans, who were really disheartened after the cancellation of the series and launched a major campaign to restore the series or transfer it to a new channel.
The show which was different in every sense of the word was popular because of its concept of an alien world. People across the world and across centuries have been fantasizing about such a world which was bought to our very own living rooms through this show. It was also so much successful because of its well written script and a brilliant cast. It was relly shameful to cut the show so suddenly. But thanks to the creator we at least got to know the ending of the show even though it was a year before we got to see that too!
