Anthony Simcoe is an Australian actor. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts which is located in Sydney. He also holds a Master in Fine Arts in Drama with specialization in actor training. He is the proud father of two sons named Willem Lee and Jackson Tye. Both his sons were born on a Friday. Besides acting, he also works as a freelancer providing cooperate training. In addition he performs in the musical band Signal Room along with co-star Wayne Pygram. He currently lives in Sydney with his family.

Anthony has done a number of theatre shows such as World Games, Cravings, Three Winters Green, Peter Pan, Complaints and Double Deception etc. On television he has appeared on shows like Home and Away, A Country Practice, Water Rats, Stingers, The Lost World, BeastMaster, Black Jack, The Alice and East West 101 etc. besides being cast for the role of D’Argo on Farscape. He has also worked in the films Mr. Reliable, The Castle, Oops!, Syntax Error, Solo, Midnight Screening, and Nim’s Island.

Role in Farscape

In Farscape, he plays the role of the impatient Luxan warrior Ka D’Argo. He is a creature with a striking personality. Before the start of the show, he was imprisoned by the Peacekeepers when he was falsely found guilty of murdering his wife. He carries a broadsword which can be transformed into a rifle and calls it Qualta Blade.
