The second season of the series Farscape premiered on the 17th March 2000. The season had the usual twenty two episodes. In the first episode, Aeryn makes an unusual deal with Crais to save her friends who are being pursued by Scorpio. D’Argo participates in a ritual to save a dying Luxan, which results in Moya rapidly growing old. On learning about her brother’s death, Chiana goes to a planet whose inhabitants play life-threatening games. An alien scientist tells the crew that he can make Moya untraceable while he makes them fight one another.

The crew demands an explanation from Aeryn and the current pilot when they come to learn that Aeryn was responsible for the death of the first pilot. A picture gifted to Chiana, predicts the death of all the crew members. The crew suffering from shortage of food has to prevent Zahaan from eating up Moya. Zahaan recalls the time when Rygel and Chiana defended her when she was falsely charged of murder.
